Gabriele Engelhardt vit à Karlsruhe et travaille sur les sites de ses projets artistiques changeants. Sculpteur et photographe, elle crée ses œuvres en combinant les deux médias. Les matières premières et les matériaux recyclés sont au cœur de ses préoccupations. La modélisation et le collage de données numériques constituent la base de son exploration de la manière dont l'espace et la plasticité peuvent être représentés sur une surface bidimensionnelle.

Gabriele Engelhardt lives in Karlsruhe and works at the locations of her changing artistic projects. As a sculptor and photographer, she creates her works by combining both media. Raw and recycled materials are the focus of her interest. Modeling and collaging digital data forms the basis for investigating how spatiality and plasticity can be represented on a two-dimensional surface.
